Listen to the setting
Start with the architecture, natural light and proportions of your venue. Let the space suggest where to concentrate attention and where a lighter touch will be more effective.
Choose a visual thread
A restrained palette, a distinctive texture or a meaningful flower can connect otherwise different spaces. Repetition with variation feels intentional; repeating every element exactly can flatten the experience.
Spend attention where it is felt
Consider what guests see when they arrive, where they gather, and what frames your ceremony. These moments often deserve more attention than corners that will hardly be noticed.
Edit with your story in mind
Ask whether each detail adds meaning, comfort or atmosphere. If it does none of those things, you have permission to let it go.
